Mr. Puneet Dalmia

Managing Director & CEO — Dalmia Bharat Limited

The Indian economy continues to grow strongly despite global headwinds. Cement demand picked up well in the last quarter post monsoon and festival period. We delivered a robust volume growth of 10% YoY during this quarter driven by focused efforts of our sale team to deliver superior value proposition to our customers. Happy to share that we commenced the commercial production from our 3.6 MnTPA new clinker line at Umrangso which will further strengthen our position in the North East. As I look forward, we remain confident of delivering sustainable and profitable growth and contributing to India’s growth journey.”
