JITF Infralogistics' consolidated revenue rose 35.1% YoY to ₹726.2 Cr (₹537.5 Cr a year ago) and 9.4% QoQ (₹664.0 Cr in Q1 FY27), led by the Water Infrastructure segment (+47.9% YoY to ₹611.4 Cr); Urban Infrastructure was nearly flat (+2.3% YoY to ₹114.8 Cr). The reported consolidated net loss narrowed to ₹12.7 Cr from ₹16.0 Cr a year ago (+20.8% YoY), but the print carries a ₹24.6 Cr non-cash ESOP exceptional charge at subsidiary JWIL that the year-ago quarter did not have. Stripping it out, adjusted PAT swings to roughly ₹12.0 Cr of profit versus an adjusted loss of ₹16.0 Cr a year ago — a genuine YoY turnaround at the bottom line, even though the headline print still reads as a loss.
Q2 FY-2027 vs prior quarters
The turnaround did not come from margin expansion: operating margin (OPM) compressed to 15.2% from 21.5% a year ago, and even excluding the exceptional charge, underlying OPM was around 18.6%, still down roughly 290 bps YoY as cost of materials consumed and construction expenses grew faster than the 35% revenue increase. What flipped the bottom line was below-the-line relief — finance costs eased 3.3% YoY to ₹98.1 Cr even as short-term borrowings jumped to ₹957.8 Cr from ₹585.95 Cr at FY26-end, and tax expense fell sharply to ₹8.9 Cr from ₹16.5 Cr. Sequentially, the picture is weaker than the YoY headline suggests: underlying (pre-exceptional) PBT fell to ₹20.9 Cr in Q2 from ₹33.8 Cr in Q1 FY27 despite 9.4% QoQ revenue growth — Q1 carried a near-identical ₹24.6 Cr ESOP charge, so the one-off is not what drove this sequential slowdown; it reflects softer underlying profitability, and for a non-seasonal infrastructure business this QoQ dip is a genuine signal rather than a seasonal artifact.
The stock went into the print at ₹277.2, up 0.8% over the past month of trading.
What the summary numbers don't show
Standalone (holding-company) results are negligible — revenue ₹1.01 Cr, PAT ₹0.52 Cr — all operating scale sits in the consolidated group
There is no analyst coverage of this stock (Simply Wall St lists zero analysts tracking it) and no street estimate to compare against, nor is there any prior management guidance on record in our data or found via web search — management gives no formal outlook for this quarter. No press release accompanied this filing, so there is no management framing to reconcile against the numbers. The quarter's other corporate developments were administrative rather than operational: the registered office moved to Uttar Pradesh (Nov 2, 2026), and the company saw a CMD transition on Sept 10, 2026 (Shraddha RJ Prithvi appointed, Pranay Kumar resigned) alongside a board-committee reconstruction the same day — none of these explain the operating numbers but mark a leadership and governance reset mid-quarter. Auditors flagged (without modifying their opinion) a continuing going-concern uncertainty at JITF Water Infra (Naya Raipur) over its O&M concession's non-renewal, and an unresolved Bathinda arbitration matter — both pre-existing risk items, not new to this quarter.
W1
JWIL ESOP exercise will dilute the group's effective stake in JWIL from 54.61% to 50.01%; NCI already rose to ₹82.9 Cr from ₹69.5 Cr at FY26-end — watch the consolidated NCI line next quarter
W2
Going-concern uncertainty at JITF Water Infra (Naya Raipur) over its O&M concession's non-renewal beyond Jan 4, 2018 remains unresolved per the auditors' review
W3
Underlying (ex-exceptional) OPM fell to ~18.6% in Q2 from 21.3% in Q1 FY27 — watch whether it stabilizes or keeps drifting down next quarter
Consolidated PBT includes a ₹24.6434 Cr exceptional item (JWIL ESOP non-cash charge, Note 4) and ₹0.0465 Cr JV share; this exceptional recurs from Q1 FY27 (also ₹24.6433 Cr) but was absent in the year-ago quarter. Group PAT -₹12.6687 Cr splits to owners -₹12.8829 Cr and NCI +₹0.2142 Cr. Standalone is a thin holding entity (secondary basis); all operating scale sits in consolidated.
