Consolidated revenue/PAT surged YoY with EBITDA margin expanding to 25.5%, but the PAT jump is off a depressed year-ago base and virtually all incremental profit came from one subsidiary (Aerolloy) while the standalone parent's PAT fell 36.6% YoY on margin compression, so it falls short of a clean very_good.

Consolidated PAT was ₹29.19 Cr, up ~466% YoY from ₹5.16 Cr (off a low year-ago base) but down 51.3% QoQ from ₹59.91 Cr, with basic EPS of ₹19.47 versus ₹3.44 a year ago and ₹39.96 in the preceding quarter. No exceptional items are disclosed on either side of the comparison, so the YoY and QoQ swings are read like-for-like.

Group profitability improved sharply YoY — consolidated NPM expanded to 14.8% from 4.8% and OPM (EBITDA margin) to 25.5% from 9.0% — though both compressed sequentially from Q4's unusually strong 25.3%/32.2%. The more material story sits in the standalone-vs-consolidated gap: standalone (parent-only) revenue grew a faster 121% YoY to ₹113.17 Cr, yet standalone PAT actually fell 36.6% YoY to ₹5.19 Cr, as standalone OPM compressed to roughly 7.9% from 10.6% and NPM to 4.4% from 13.1%. Finance costs (₹1.74 Cr vs ₹0.98 Cr) and depreciation (₹6.22 Cr vs ₹4.47 Cr) both roughly doubled YoY, consistent with ongoing capex, and outpaced the parent's own revenue growth.

Quarterly consolidated PAT, ₹ Crore

For context: this is the second-highest quarterly PAT of the last 6 quarters.

That means essentially all of the group's incremental profit — consolidated PAT of ₹29.19 Cr against a standalone ₹5.19 Cr — is being generated outside the parent entity. The auditors' review report shows the four UK-based Trac entities (Trac Holdings, Trac Precision Solutions, Broomco, Trac Group) contributed just ₹71.44 Cr revenue and ₹1.93 Cr PAT for the quarter, which points to Aerolloy Technologies — PTC's other wholly-owned subsidiary — as the main driver of the roughly ₹24 Cr profit gap. Aerolloy signed a landmark titanium-casting supply agreement with Airbus for the A320neo, A330neo and A350 programmes on August 6, 2026, just days before this result. The quarter also saw defence order wins — an artillery gun component order from Gun Factory Kanpur and a titanium tank cradle design order from DRDO (both July 23-24, 2026) — order-book additions not yet reflected in this quarter's revenue given the timing. Management gives no formal guidance on record and no press release accompanies this filing beyond the board-outcome letter, so there is no management commentary to reconcile against the numbers; no verified street consensus estimate for this specific quarter could be found either, so vs-guidance and vs-street are both unknown rather than assumed.

Clean typed statements, figures converted from ₹ Lakhs; totalIncome and PAT checks pass exactly on both segments. No exceptional items disclosed. Standalone PAT fell YoY on margin compression even as consolidated PAT surged on subsidiary contribution — flagged as basis divergence per policy.
