On a consolidated basis (primary), Schaeffler India posted revenue of ₹3,089.4 Cr, up 26.9% YoY and 11.9% QoQ, with PAT of ₹349.1 Cr, up 20.7% YoY and 7.2% QoQ. There is no loss and no one-off distorting either period, but profit growth trailing revenue growth is the real story: EBITDA margin (OPM) slipped to 17.4% from 18.7% a year ago and 18.1% last quarter, and net margin eased to 11.2% from 11.7% YoY — margin compression, not expansion.

The standalone statement shows PAT of ₹370.4 Cr, about 5.8% higher than the ₹349.1 Cr consolidated figure — a gap wide enough to flag. It traces to subsidiary KRSV Innovative Auto Solutions, which posted a ₹19.6 Cr net loss on ₹83.7 Cr of revenue for the quarter and is fully consolidated into the group numbers. Both statements are otherwise clean of exceptional items, so the YoY and QoQ growth rates above are also the adjusted rates.

What management guided (1 FY-2027 call)
Capex ₹400-500 Cr for CY26 reaffirmed, on track after ₹175 Cr in H1. Exports to be managed at ~20% of revenue max, not a growth target. Expects H2 margin recovery through FX indexation and price corrections, with wage/commodity cost pass-through discussions ongoing with OEMs.

— This quarter: missed

Against management's own guidance from the July 2026 concall — H2 margin recovery through FX indexation, price corrections and OEM cost pass-through on wages/commodities — this first H2 quarter has not delivered: margins compressed further rather than recovering, so that guidance reads as missed so far, with one more quarter of H2 to confirm or reverse the trend. The ₹400-500 Cr CY26 capex target (₹175 Cr spent in H1, per management) cannot be checked against this filing, which carries no cash-flow or capex disclosure. Intercompany exports stayed at roughly 11% of revenue, well inside the self-imposed 20% ceiling management has described as a cap rather than a growth target. No quarter-specific street consensus was found in available sources (broader FY2026 analyst consensus points to ~₹11,160 Cr revenue and ~₹87.20 EPS for the full year, not a quarterly estimate), so this print cannot be graded against the Street with confidence. The filing itself carries no management press-release commentary beyond the board-outcome letter. Separately, the MD was arrested on October 20, 2026 over a factory-accident investigation and released on bail on October 23, 2026 with the investigation stayed, and a promoter-group stake monetization has been reported — both post-date the September 30 quarter-end and sit outside these financials, but are relevant context immediately ahead of this result.
