Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) announced changes in its senior management, one level below the Board, as per Regulation 30 of SEBI guidelines. Shri. BHV Prasad, Executive Director (Projects), will cease his role on June 1, 2026, due to superannuation. Shri. Pattathil Sujith has been appointed as Executive Director (Projects). Sujith has three decades of experience with MRPL, contributing to key projects including refinery commissioning and BS-VI project execution.

MRPL has received notices from BSE and NSE regarding non-compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The non-compliance pertains to the composition of its Board and Sub-committees for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. As a result, the company has been levied a fine of ₹5,68,760 each from both BSE and NSE, totaling ₹11,37,520. MRPL has represented to the exchanges for a waiver of the fine, citing its status as a Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) where director nominations are made by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) has launched the 'Saksham Niveshak' campaign from April 01, 2026, to July 09, 2026, following directives from the IEPFA. The campaign aims to reach shareholders with unpaid or unclaimed dividends, create awareness, and encourage them to update KYC details and claim dividends before transfer to IEPF. Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has received authorization from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) to lay, build, operate, or expand a petroleum and petroleum product (ATF) pipeline. The pipeline will run from Devangonthi to the Existing Common User Fuel Farm Station & Upcoming Satellite Fuel Farm Station inside the Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru. The project is expected to be completed within 36 months, with a system capacity of 2.5 MMTPA.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has received a favorable final order from the Customs Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), Bangalore, regarding a dispute over the classification of imported 'Reformats'. CESTAT allowed MRPL's appeal, making the company eligible for a refund of ₹1212.53 crore in customs duty, which was previously paid under protest. This will improve MRPL's cash flow and extinguish a contingent liability of ₹616.82 crore. The company will file a refund application as per the Customs Act, 1962.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) announced the formation of an Integrated Petrochemical Marketing & Trading Joint Venture Company. Its holding company, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), approved the JVC with a shareholding ratio of 50:25:25 by ONGC, MRPL, and ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) respectively. MRPL will contribute ₹12.5 crore towards the equity share capital, pending approval from DIPAM. The JVC aims to integrate petrochemical marketing for group companies, creating synergy, reducing costs, and increasing revenue through improved pricing, logistics, and grade optimization. It will also facilitate the production of specialty grades and open opportunities for third-party sales, addressing the nation's import dependency in certain petrochemicals.

Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) announced its audited financial results for Q4 and the full year ended March 31, 2026. For Q4 FY26, revenue from operations was ₹28,493 Crore, with Profit Before Tax (PBT) at ₹1,235 Crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) at ₹119 Crore. For the full year FY26, revenue from operations stood at ₹1,05,155 Crore. The company reported a significant increase in full-year PBT to ₹4,022 Crore and PAT to ₹1,931 Crore, compared to ₹113 Crore and ₹51 Crore respectively in FY25. Gross Refining Margin (GRM) for FY26 improved to $8.22/bbl from $4.45/bbl in FY25. Physical throughput for the year was 17.00 MMT. MRPL also commissioned 85 new retail outlets, bringing the total to 252, and won the FIPPI Innovator of the Year (2025) award.

For Q4 FY26, the company reported a consolidated total income of ₹30,203.04 crore and a consolidated net profit of ₹502.03 crore. For the full financial year 2025-26, consolidated total income was ₹1,09,819.00 crore, with a consolidated net profit of ₹1,981.90 crore. The Board did not recommend any final dividend for FY2025-26. The Statutory Auditors provided an unmodified opinion on the financial statements.
