NTPC: NGEL Adds 62.5 MW Solar Capacity, Totaling 89,868 MW

NTPC Ltd's subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), announced the Commercial Operation Date (COD) for additional capacities of two solar projects in Rajasthan, effective May 15, 2026. Project Eleven Renewable Power Private Limited added 12.5 MW (cumulative 100 MW) to its 150 MW solar project, and Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Limited added 50 MW (cumulative 200 MW) to its 300 MW solar project. Following these additions, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group now stands at 89,868 MW, with a commercial capacity of 88,788 MW. The commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group stands at 10,453.90 MW, increasing to 10,516.40 MW.
