Abbott India: Board Changes & Postal Ballot Approved

Abbott India Ltd's board meeting on April 22, 2026, addressed key management changes. Ms. Anisha Motwani's term as Independent Director ends on April 24, 2026. Mr. Neeraj Jain is appointed as an Additional Independent Director effective April 25, 2026, subject to member approval. Ms. Alison Davies resigned as Director effective April 22, 2026. Mr. James Wenner is appointed as Additional Non-Executive Director effective April 23, 2026, subject to member approval. Mr. Tushar Singh will transition to another Abbott affiliate on June 1, 2026, ceasing to be Senior Management Personnel on May 31, 2026. Mr. Amol Metkar is appointed as Plant Director - Goa and Senior Management Personnel effective June 1, 2026. The board also approved a postal ballot for the appointment of Mr. Jain and Mr. Wenner.
