Adani Green Operationalizes 481.9 MW RE & 3,081 MWh BESS Projects

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commercially operationalized an aggregate of 481.9 MW of renewable energy projects and 3,081 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Gujarat. This brings AGEL's total operational renewable generation capacity to 20,762.70 MW and total operational BESS capacity to 6,632 MWh. The operationalization date was October 01, 2026. AGEL's expanded BESS capacity now accounts for over 50% of India's operational BESS capacity, with the Khavda installation being the world's largest single-location BESS. This expansion supports grid stability by enabling storage and dispatch of clean energy when needed.
