NTPC Subsidiary Declares Commercial Operation of 66.18 MW Solar Capacity

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, has declared the commercial operation of the fourth part capacity of 66.18 MW of the Kalasar Solar Energy Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. This capacity is part of the 650 MW solar component under the 500 MW REMCL RTC Project. The commercial operation commenced from October 10, 2026. With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group reaches 91,572 MW, and its commercial capacity stands at 90,492 MW. The total installed capacity of the NGEL group has increased to 11,328.69 MW, with a current commercial capacity of 11,262.51 MW.
