NTPC Group Capacity Rises to 91,456 MW with Solar Project Update

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd, has announced the commercial operation of two additional capacities from its Kalasar Solar Energy Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The second part capacity of 73.06 MW and the third part capacity of 80.88 MW, totaling 153.94 MW, are now operational as of October 1, 2026. This brings the total installed capacity of the NTPC group to 91,456 MW and its commercial capacity to 90,376 MW. The NGEL group's commercial capacity now stands at 11,058.57 MW, with its total installed capacity increasing to 11,212.51 MW.
