Adani Power Secures 1,234 MW Thermal Power Deal from UPCL

Adani Power Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) for a long-term Power Supply Agreement (PSA). The contract is for the supply of 1,234 MW ex-bus net power (1,320 MW installed capacity) from thermal power. This award is contingent upon the approval of the tariff by the Hon'ble Uttarakhand Electricity Regulatory Commission under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003. The PSA is for a duration of 25 years. The company was declared the successful bidder in a tender floated by UPCL. The LoA was received on October 13, 2026.
