Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Appoints New CISO, Basil Dange Resigns

Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd has announced a change in its Senior Management Personnel. Mr. Rishi Awasthi has been appointed as the new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and a Senior Management Personnel, effective October 1, 2026. This appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Basil Dange from the same position due to personal reasons. Mr. Dange's resignation is effective from the close of business hours on September 25, 2026. Mr. Awasthi brings over 14 years of experience in Information Security and Cyber Risk across various sectors, most recently serving as Lead - Privacy and IS Audit at Aditya Birla Capital Limited.
