Afcons Infrastructure fined ₹16.48 Cr for earth excavation irregularities

Afcons Infrastructure Ltd has received a penalty order from the Tahsildar, Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, imposing a fine of ₹16.48 Crores. The penalty is related to alleged irregularities concerning earth excavation and removal activities in the Mouje Purna and Rahanal area for the MML5 Project. The company disputes the order and intends to file an appeal. At present, there is no financial impact on operations.
