Akme Fintrade: 20 Lakh Warrants Lapse, ₹5.55 Cr Forfeited

Akme Fintrade (India) Ltd has announced the forfeiture and lapse of 20,00,000 convertible warrants. These warrants were issued under SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations. The company had previously approved the allotment of these warrants to non-promoters at an issue price of ₹111 each, aggregating to ₹22,20,00,000. As the warrant holders failed to pay the remaining 75% of the issue price within the stipulated 18-month period, which ended on July 29, 2026, the warrants have lapsed. Consequently, the upfront subscription amount of 25%, totaling ₹5,55,00,000, has been forfeited. This lapse will not impact the company's paid-up share capital. The matter will be presented to the Board of Directors for a formal resolution.
