Allcargo Global: August 2026 LCL volume down 7% YoY to 711k cbm

Allcargo Global Limited released its monthly business update for August 2026. LCL volume stood at 711 thousand cubic meters, a 7% year-on-year and 2% month-on-month decline, attributed to the rationalization of loss-making trade lanes, which has improved yields. The company anticipates resilient peak season demand and elevated freight rates. Container utilization and 40-feet container usage consistently improved, now marginally above last year's levels. FCL volume was 51,023 TEUs, down 5% year-on-year (partly due to the Middle East crisis) but up 4% month-on-month. Air volume reached 2,796 tons, marking a 6% year-on-year decline but a 2% month-on-month growth.
