Anantam Highways Trust to Acquire 7 Entities for up to ₹1893.72 Cr

Anantam Highways Trust's Board, via its Investment Manager Alpha Alternatives Fund-Infra Advisors Private Limited, has approved the acquisition of seven entities, including Bethamangala Expressway Private Limited and DAK Package -I Expressway Private Limited, for a consideration of up to ₹1893.72 crores. The acquisition will be completed in tranches, subject to definitive agreements and regulatory approvals. The Trust also plans to issue up to 16,48,03,867 Units at ₹104.76 per Unit via preferential issue for a non-cash consideration of up to ₹1726.49 crores, primarily for acquiring stakes in Poondiyankuppam Highways Limited and Bangarupalem Gudipala Highways Limited, among others. Unitholder approval will be sought via postal ballot for these acquisitions and the preferential issue. The acquisitions align with the Trust's strategy to enhance revenue stability, portfolio size, and geographical diversification.
