Ashok Leyland Appoints Deloitte as New Statutory Auditors

Ashok Leyland Ltd has announced a change in its statutory auditors. Price Waterhouse & Co. Chartered Accountants LLP will complete their 10-year tenure at the conclusion of the 78th Annual General Meeting in 2027. The Board, based on the Audit Committee's recommendation, has approved the appointment of M/s Deloitte Haskins & Sells Chartered Accountant LLP as the new statutory auditors. This appointment is for a period of five years, commencing from the conclusion of the 78th AGM in 2027 until the conclusion of the 83rd AGM in 2032, subject to shareholder approval. Deloitte Haskins & Sells Chartered Accountants LLP was established in 1997 and converted to an LLP in 2021, with a network of around 130 partners across multiple Indian cities.
