
AABL gets NCLT nod to acquire SDF Industries for 30.85 Cr
Associated Alcohols & Breweries Limited (AABL) has received approval from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to acquire SDF Industries Ltd. for 30.85 crore. SDF Industries, a distillery-cum-bottling unit in Thrissur, Keralam, will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of AABL upon completion of the acquisition. The facility boasts an IMFL bottling capacity of approximately 3.60 lakh cases per annum and an ENA distillery license capacity of 75 lakh liters per annum. This strategic acquisition aims to bring AABL's bottling operations in Keralam in-house, enhancing operational control, efficiency, and supporting future growth plans. AABL plans to upgrade the facility, with operations targeted to commence by September 2026, expecting improved margins and new product launches.
