Aster DM Healthcare Board Approves Director Appointments and Notes Resignations

Aster DM Healthcare Limited announced significant changes to its Board of Directors and Senior Management Personnel (SMP). The Board approved the appointment of Mr. Varun Khanna as Managing Director & Group Chief Executive Officer, along with several other directors designated as Independent and Non-Executive Directors. These appointments are effective July 1, 2026, and are subject to shareholder approval, stemming from an ongoing Scheme of Amalgamation. Concurrently, the company noted the resignation of two Independent Directors, Mr. Maniedath Madhavan Nambiar and Mr. C. J. George, and two Non-Executive Directors, Dr. Zeba Azad Moopen and Mr. Shamsudheen Bin Mohideen Mammu Haji, also effective July 1, 2026. The Board also acknowledged the resignation of Mr. Hitesh Dhaddha as Chief Investor Relations and M&A Officer and approved a revised list of SMPs.
