Awfis & Zinnov Launch Report on India GCCs' Workplace Evolution

Awfis Space Solutions Ltd, in collaboration with Zinnov, has released a report titled "The Great Workplace Reset: How India GCCs are Redefining Work, Workforce, and Workspace." The report highlights the transformation of India's Global Capability Centers (GCCs) from execution hubs to strategic ownership centers. It details how this shift impacts hiring, skilling, and real estate decisions, with India now hosting 2,117 GCCs generating USD 98.4 billion in revenue (FY26E) and employing over 2.36 million professionals. The report also notes a significant move up the value chain in GCC work portfolios, with complex problem-solving and R&D work increasing. AI/ML talent in GCCs has nearly doubled, positioning India as the second-largest AI talent market. Workspace is increasingly viewed as an operating decision, driving demand for flexible spaces, with GCCs accounting for 44% of office leasing demand in Q1 2026 and 40-45% of enterprise flex seat uptake.
