Axis Bank Appoints Rahul Shukla as Group Head, Commercial Banking

Axis Bank Ltd has appointed Rahul Shukla as Group Head, Commercial and Bharat Banking, effective October 19, 2026. Shukla, an experienced banking leader with over three decades of experience at institutions like HDFC Bank and Citi, will be responsible for accelerating growth, deepening customer relationships, and strengthening the Bank's presence in these segments. He will be part of the Senior Management team. His appointment follows recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and approval from the Board of Directors.
