Azad Engineering Secures ₹52.68 Cr BHEL Contract

Azad Engineering Limited has been appointed as a long-term source by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) and awarded a two-year contract for supplying critical stationary and rotating airfoils (blades) for heavy-duty gas turbines. The estimated value of this contract is approximately ₹52.68 crore. This award is significant as it supports BHEL's indigenisation efforts and marks an important step for Azad Engineering in India's domestic power generation equipment ecosystem. The company had previously executed a similar rate contract in May 2023, which was not deemed material at the time. Considering the combined value and duration, the arrangement is now considered material and is being disclosed.
