Bajaj Auto Appoints Pallavi Joshi Bakhru as Independent Director

Bajaj Auto Ltd has announced the appointment of Ms. Pallavi Joshi Bakhru as a Non-Executive Independent Director, effective January 1, 2027, for a term of five years, subject to shareholder approval. The Board of Directors approved the appointment based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. Ms. Bakhru brings over 30 years of experience in corporate tax, litigation, and regulatory matters, currently leading Family Office and Private Client Services at Grant Thornton Bharat. She is not related to any existing directors and has not been debarred from holding a director's office. Her appointment is a corporate governance measure.
