Bajaj Finance Reappoints CISO Prashant Verma for 3 Years

Bajaj Finance Ltd announced the re-appointment of Prashant Verma as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for a period of three years, effective February 1, 2027. The decision was approved by the Board of Directors based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, adhering to RBI Guidelines. Verma, who has been with the company since February 1, 2024, brings approximately 21 years of experience in the security domain. He previously headed the Cyber Risk Unit and currently leads Information Security. His expertise includes architecting security services and working as a security auditor and consultant for financial institutions.
