
Bajel Projects Signs ₹400 Cr Transmission Line Deal with EETC
Bajel Projects Limited has formalized a significant agreement with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) in Cairo, Egypt, for the construction of two contiguous sections (Lot 1 and Lot 5) of a 500 kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL). This ultra-mega order is valued at over ₹400 crore and is part of Egypt's national grid reinforcement program. The agreement, signed by Bajel's MD & CEO and witnessed by the Indian Ambassador to Egypt, underscores Bajel's expanding footprint in the MENA region and its role as a trusted international EPC partner in high-voltage power transmission. This deal strengthens Bajel's presence in the region, complementing its existing joint venture in Saudi Arabia and its new subsidiary in the UAE.
