Balmer Lawrie Appoints Durg Vijay Singh Deo as Independent Director

Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd has appointed Shri Durg Vijay Singh Deo as an Additional Non-Executive Director in the designation of Independent Director. This appointment, approved by the Board of Directors via circulation, is effective immediately and will continue until the next General Meeting. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval and follows a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and a letter from the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. Shri Deo is an academician with over 10 years of teaching experience and holds Master of Arts in Political Science. He is not debarred from holding the office of Director by any authority.
