Balmer Lawrie Investments Appoints Two New Directors

Balmer Lawrie Investments Ltd announced changes in its board of directors, effective August 13, 2026. Shri Samir Kumar Mohanty and Shri Arvind Nath Jha have ceased their directorships as Non-Executive Government Nominee Directors due to withdrawal of nomination by the administrative ministry. Concurrently, Shri Aditya Shekhar Singh and Shri Romon Sebastian Louis have been appointed as Non-Executive Additional Directors in the same capacity. Both new appointees will hold office until the next general meeting. The appointments are in line with recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and pursuant to a letter from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The company affirmed that the new directors are not debarred from holding office.
