Baron Infotech Renamed PurpleTalk Ltd Post Insolvency Resolution

Baron Infotech Limited held its first board meeting post-corporate insolvency resolution, approving the amalgamation with PurpleTalk India Private Limited and a name change to "PurpleTalk Limited". The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) approved the resolution plan and scheme of arrangement on September 8, 2026. The company also appointed five new additional directors, including Sridhar Muppidi as Chairman and Managing Director, and noted the cessation of previous directors. The registered office will shift, and authorized share capital will increase to INR 300 Crores. A record date of October 6, 2026, has been set for the cancellation of erstwhile promoter shares and a 95% reduction in public shareholding.
