Avio Smart Market Stack Signs MoU for Tripura Freeze-Drying Facility

Avio Smart Market Stack Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Tripura to establish a state-of-the-art freeze-drying facility for fruits and vegetables. This project, titled "A Freeze-Drying Initiative on Fruits and Vegetables for Tripura," aims to strengthen the region's agro-processing infrastructure, enhance the shelf life and marketability of local produce, and reduce post-harvest losses. The facility is expected to create approximately 1,300 jobs (500 direct, 800 indirect), boost farmer incomes, and contribute to the economic growth of Tripura's horticulture sector. The MoU was signed during the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2026, with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tripura expressing appreciation for the initiative.
