BCCL July 2026 Raw Coal Production Up 3.4% YoY

Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) has reported its provisional monthly production performance for July 2026. Raw coal production stood at 2.45 million tonnes, a 3.4% increase compared to 2.37 million tonnes in the same period last year. Coking coal production also saw a rise of 4.6% year-on-year, reaching 2.37 million tonnes. Washed coking coal production surged by 37.2% to 0.14 million tonnes. However, non-coking coal production decreased by 22.1%. Overburden removal saw a marginal 3.1% increase, while raw coal off-take grew by 10.9%. The progressive figures for April-July 2026 show a significant 21.1% decrease in raw coal production compared to the previous year.
