Bharat Dynamics Fined ₹6.96 Lakh Each by BSE & NSE for SEBI LODR Non-Compliance

Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL) has been fined ₹6,96,200 each by BSE and NSE for non-compliance with Regulation 17(1), 18, and 19 of the SEBI LODR for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. The non-compliance pertains to the appointment of Independent Directors, a process over which BDL claims to have no control, as the authority rests with the President of India through the Ministry of Defence. BDL will seek a waiver and anticipates continued non-compliance until the government appoints the required directors. The company states that the fine will not impact its financial or operational activities.
