Bharat Forge Subsidiary Partners AM General for Artillery Systems

Bharat Forge's subsidiary, Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd (KSSL), has entered into a strategic partnership with AM General. This collaboration aims to offer advanced mounted artillery gun systems for global armies, addressing modern combat needs with compact, mobile, and all-weather platforms. The partnership also includes a proposal for AM General to participate in the U.S. Army's Mobile Tactical Cannon (MTC) program, potentially delivering a 155mm MTC solution by 2027. The MArG system features advanced technology like Soft Recoil Technology (SRT) for enhanced performance and lighter vehicle design, capable of firing over 40 kilometers.
