Bihar Sponge Iron appoints Om Prakash Jangir as VP-Commercial

Bihar Sponge Iron Ltd has announced the appointment of Mr. Om Prakash Jangir as the Vice President– Commercial, effective from May 1, 2026. Mr. Jangir, aged 51, brings approximately 27 years of extensive experience in managerial and administrative roles within large projects, with expertise in plant operations, strategy, and technology. He holds an M. Com. (Accounts) degree from the University of Ajmer, Rajasthan. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Plant Head at DD Steel & Power Ltd., Seraikela, where he contributed significantly to organizational growth and operational efficiency. The company confirmed there is no relationship between Mr. Jangir and its existing directors. This appointment is in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI Listing Regulations.
