Biocon Partner Secures MYR 225M+ in Malaysian Insulin Tenders

Biocon's Malaysian subsidiary, Biocon Sdn. Bhd., will supply insulin products to its partner Duopharma Biotech, which has secured multiple insulin contracts from the Ministry of Health (MoH), Malaysia. The total value of these contracts exceeds MYR 225 million for the current year. The agreements include a three-year contract for human insulin (MYR 155.27 million) and two two-year contracts for insulin glargine (MYR 18 million) and insulin aspart (MYR 52.5 million). This reinforces Biocon's commitment to diabetes care in Malaysia, ensuring continued access to affordable insulin therapies and aligning with national healthcare policies. Biocon's integrated insulin manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia, plays a crucial role in enabling large-scale insulin production and distribution.
