Biocon Secures Early Launch for Pebrilzo® Post Patent Settlement

Biocon Limited has reached a global settlement and license agreement with Genentech, resolving patent disputes and securing early licensed launch dates for its biosimilar, Pebrilzo® (bPertuzumab). This agreement allows Biocon to launch Pebrilzo® in the European Union and UK in Q1 CY2027, in the U.S. in Q3 CY2028, and in other Rest of the World countries between CY2026-2028, subject to regulatory approvals. Pebrilzo® is a biosimilar to Perjeta® (Pertuzumab) and is used for treating HER2-positive breast cancer.
