Borosil Scientific to Expand Production Capacity by 7x to 108 Lakh Units

Borosil Scientific Ltd announced plans to expand its production capacity for glassware products by setting up an additional manufacturing facility in Bharuch, Gujarat. The expansion aims to increase capacity from 15 lakh units per annum to 108 lakh units per annum, with commercial production expected to commence by March 2027. The estimated capital expenditure for this project is ₹60 crores, to be financed through internal accruals and/or borrowings. This expansion is driven by strong and growing demand from Borosil Limited and aims to cater to increasing sourcing requirements.
