Castrol India & Tata Motors Partner for Used Oil Circularity

Castrol India Limited and Tata Motors have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch a pilot program focused on the responsible collection, channelization, and recycling of used engine oil. This initiative will establish a traceable system for used oil management, starting with Tata Motors' authorized service network in Karnataka. The collaboration aims to create a scalable model for handling hazardous waste, contributing to a circular economy in the automotive sector and aligning with both companies' sustainability goals. The pilot will leverage Castrol India's expertise in lubricants and existing learnings from used oil collection pilots.
