Chemplast Sanmar Plant Closed by Pollution Control Committee

Chemplast Sanmar Ltd has received directions from the Puducherry Pollution Control Committee to immediately close down its Ethylene-Di-Chloride (EDC) manufacturing plant at its Karaikal facility. The closure is effective until further orders from the committee. This follows a previous prohibition order by the Inspector of Factories.
