Coal India Bags 600 MW Solar Plant Contract in UP

Coal India Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for setting up a 600 MW solar power plant at Jalaun Solar Park in Uttar Pradesh. The contract, awarded by Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited, is valued at Rs. 2.73/kWh. The project has an estimated cost of Rs. 2831.11 crore and is to be executed within 18 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). This development marks a significant step for Coal India in expanding its renewable energy portfolio.
