Comfort Intech Ltd Receives Provisional Attachment Order from Enforcement Directorate

Comfort Intech Limited has received a Provisional Attachment Order from the Office of the Joint Director, Enforcement Directorate, Hyderabad. The order, issued under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, pertains to certain assets/properties and is a result of an FIR registered in 2013 based on a complaint by Ravi Kumar Distilleries Ltd. The matter is currently sub-judice before the CB-CID Court in Hyderabad since 2020. The Company maintains a strong legal position and is taking appropriate steps to challenge the order. The attached assets have an approximate value of ₹13,07,59,308 for a period of 180 days from the date of the order. The Company is currently assessing the financial impact, but there is no material impact on the day-to-day operations at present.
