Coromandel International Ltd has received an Order-in-Appeal from the Additional Commissioner (Appeals), Jodhpur, for FY 2019-20. The order confirms a demand of Rs. 71,63,421/- plus a penalty of Rs. 12,66,303/- and applicable interest. The demand is primarily due to alleged excess availment of Input Tax Credit (ITC) stemming from a mismatch between GSTR-3B and GSTR-2A. The company disputes the findings and plans to appeal to the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal, stating no significant impact on its financials or operations.
