Datamatics completes 100% acquisition of TNQ Tech
Datamatics Global Services Ltd, through its subsidiary Lumina Datamatics Limited (LDL), has successfully completed the acquisition of the remaining 20% stake in TNQ Tech Private Limited (TNQTech). This second tranche acquisition, finalized on July 31, 2026, makes TNQTech a wholly-owned subsidiary of LDL and a wholly-owned step-down subsidiary of Datamatics. The total consideration for the acquisition across both tranches amounts to ₹554.80 Crores (₹348 Crores for the first tranche and ₹206.80 Crores for the second). This move is expected to strengthen Datamatics' global presence, expanding its workforce to over 7,500 employees and positioning it as a dominant player in digital content services, particularly in AI-enabled technology for scholarly journal production.
