Delton Cables re-appoints Abhishek Poddar as Independent Director

Delton Cables Ltd shareholders, at the 61st Annual General Meeting held on September 29, 2026, approved the re-appointment of Mr. Abhishek Poddar (DIN: 00031175) as an Independent Director. This re-appointment is for his second consecutive term, spanning five years, effective from September 2, 2027, until September 1, 2032, or the conclusion of the AGM in 2032, whichever comes first. The company confirmed that Mr. Poddar is not debarred from holding office by SEBI or any other authority. Mr. Poddar is an industrialist, philanthropist, and art collector, bringing varied experience in finance, administration, human resources, and general management. He holds directorships in other companies and serves on international advisory councils. There is no inter-se relationship between Mr. Abhishek Poddar and other directors of the Company.
