This initiative aims to establish a 100-acre integrated freshwater fish farming ecosystem in Gohpur, Assam, with a target production of 300 tonnes annually. The project focuses on strengthening backward integration, improving sourcing consistency, and enhancing supply chain efficiency for Zappfresh's seafood business. It also plans to develop processing, cold chain, and distribution infrastructure, while creating employment opportunities and supporting local farming communities. This marks Zappfresh's second aquaculture partnership, further expanding its seafood sourcing network.
