NLC India Signs MoU with CSIR-CECRI for Critical Minerals

NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CSIR-CECRI) to collaborate on beneficiation and extraction technologies for critical and strategic minerals. This partnership aims to develop sustainable and economically viable methods for recovering Rare Earth Elements (REEs) and other trace elements from secondary sources like overburden and mine waste. The collaboration aligns with the Government of India's National Critical Mineral Mission and the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, enhancing India's self-reliance in critical minerals and fostering technological innovation.
