NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited, has formed a joint venture named NIRL NCRTC Renewables Limited (NNRL) with the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC). NIRL holds a 74% stake in NNRL, with NCRTC holding 26%. NNRL will develop a 110 MW Solar Power Project in Uttar Pradesh. A Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) has been executed between NNRL and NCRTC for the procurement of power under a captive mode for 25 years. The project is expected to generate 180 MU annually and has a scheduled commissioning date within 24 months of signing the PPA.
