NLC India Renewables Wins 265 MW BESS Project in Haryana

NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a subsidiary of NLC India Ltd, has emerged as the successful bidder for a 265 MW/530 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) project in Haryana. The project was tendered by SJVN Limited under Viability Gap Funding (VGF) Schemes via Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding. NIRL secured the bid at a final capacity charge of INR 2,35,000 per MW per month. The company has received the Letter of Award from SJVN Limited for the development of this significant energy storage project.
