EKI Energy Registers First Plastic Project in Bangladesh with Verra

EKI Energy Services Limited has announced the successful registration of its Plastic Waste Reduction Project in Bangladesh, Phase I, with Verra. This marks the first registered plastic waste reduction project in Bangladesh and is registered under Verra's Plastic Waste Reduction Standard. The initiative represents a strategic expansion of EKI's plastic waste recovery, recycling, and circular economy solutions into international markets, specifically a major South Asian market. The project aims to implement structured approaches to plastic waste recovery, generate Plastic Credits, and contribute to a more circular economy by preventing plastic from entering landfills or the environment. This development strengthens EKI's position as a global Carbon Credit Developer and Supplier and broadens its offerings beyond traditional carbon asset management.
