Elgi Equipments Appoints STR & Associates as Cost Auditors

Elgi Equipments Ltd has appointed M/s. STR & Associates as the Cost Auditors for the financial year 2026-27. The board also approved the appointment of Ms. Padmaja Alaganandan and Mr. Varun Jay Varadaraj as Additional Directors (Non-Executive Independent and Non-Independent, respectively), subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Anvar Jay Varadaraj was re-appointed as Executive Director for 5 years, effective August 2, 2026, also subject to shareholder approval. The board fixed the AGM date for August 14, 2026, and recommended a final dividend of ₹2.70 per equity share. They also intend to appoint M/s B S R & Co. LLP as Statutory Auditors for 5 years, commencing after the 67th AGM.
