Emcure Subsidiary Sells mRNA Business for ₹1,395 Million

Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd announced that its subsidiary, Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Limited, has executed a Business Transfer Agreement to sell its mRNA business to Immunoscript Life Science Private Limited. The transaction, valued at ₹1,395 million in cash, is structured as a slump sale of the business as a going concern. The mRNA business contributed 0.71% to Emcure's consolidated revenue and 2.68% to its net worth in FY 2025-26. The sale is expected to be completed by July 17, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and approvals. Immunoscript Life Science Private Limited is a newly incorporated entity promoted by a former director of Gennova, but it is not part of Emcure's promoter group or group companies.
